Hello I've been going through a stack of audio reel to reels and found a celbration of george Martin introduced by the great man himself. Guest stars are Dudley Moore and Blue Mink doing a live version of Melting Pot so I guess it dates from 1970, anyone shed any light on this? Is this a soundtrack from a TV programme radio or what???

Hi Robstar. Just wondering, have you been able to listen to all of your George Martin Special tape? If it is the December 1969 Yorkshire program, (according to Lewisohn) it was recorded on December 14, 1969, for a December 24 transmission. Thanks for any further details!
