What was the source of "The Early Beatles" as broadcast during the 80's and showing clips of the Beatles with Ken Dodd?

I‘d be shocked if just one of the missing 1962 performances ever turned up, there were 4 or 5 appearances on Granada before the 14/8/63 one which go back to 17/10/62 when they performed “Some other guy” in the studio, the most interesting lost TV performance for me would be the 29/10/62 recording for “People and Places” which had John sat solo singer style without an instrument singing “Love me do” with the other 3 behind looking like a support group, they also did “A taste of honey” for that show. Leaving aside the Cavern footage I don’t think there is any surviving TV footage of the Beatles before the summer of 1963. The “unseen” Cavern footage mentioned on the other thread was shot while they were performing “Kansas City” and although some shots may be new I’m sure quite a lot of it has turned up here and there as long ago as on “The Compleat Beatles”.

Seems I didn't post the above message either (although it has my name). Moderators?

I know that these exist... 16.10.64 Scene At 6.30 - I Should Have Known Better Definitely me this time! I wasn't aware this existed. Is this a definite? Must be the only visual representation of this song outside of A Hard Day's Night. Some of the early (1962) People & Places are missing though. Not everything is in the Granada archive. I'd like to see their Rediffusion appearance from Tuesday Rendezvous turn up. What are the chances I wonder? If there was one i'd like to see though, it would have to be the 16/6/66 TOTP!

Definitely me this time! I wasn't aware this existed. Is this a definite? It was on a tape of Beatles TV appearances that I probably got from a record fair. There wasn't much information with the tape, and as (according to my information) they only performed this song once on TV I assume it to be that version.

By the way the tape was just your run of the mill bootleg, so nothing for people to get excited over.
