Hmmm, does Jimi Hendrix's performance from Late Night Line Up 1967 exist in the archives??? Just found it on one of these discs along with his performance from Happening with Lulu??? 1969 apparently. These are all labeled....makes it very easy IDK

Hendrix's appearance is just a cobbled together video as such. I imagine a bit like the famous ones from OGWT. Anyone remember the Floyd one with all those rolling cartoon type characters? One of These Days I think.
Never seen the Hendrix Late night. It's on Win MX I believe?
Anyone know if Hendrix did appear On Colour Me Pop?

Neither are cobbled together jobs, they are both performances by Hendrix. Cant tell if it was a filmed performance that they just aired, or a studio performance especially for that program though. IDK

Hendrix did appear on LNLU in 1967 performing "Manic Depression". The recording still survives according to BBC database info. I have never seen it surface myself but presume it exists if the documentation is accurate.

its odd that so little off air video has turned up from the late 60s and the 70s, there has to be some.

OK, I have continued trawling through the discs and I have discovered definitely the 1st April 1971 Fame & Price performance of Rossetta which is missing from the TOTP archives. I have also found a performance of Rose Garden by Lynn Andersonn which looks a bit TOTPish (i cant be sure). I know the Fame & Price performance is TOTP, because Top Of The Pops is written on the front of the drumkit !!!
IDK

Add to that a Sweet performance of Papa Joe which I am 80-90% sure is TOTP, again the database says it is missing.

Sounds like you have got totp clips that were repeated on Disco.
Great that German TV has preserved these from a era that is very pathcy indeed in the archive.

the bbc do have them but legally they cannot use them on TV as they are interweaved with Shots of the ZDF Disco studio
maybe a deal could be struck and they do a ZDF/BBC TOTP2 show
pray now !!!!!!!
