Hasn't this concert been circulating for a # of years? The date of my copy is January 9, 1969. About 55m long. It opens up with approx. 10m of footage of Jethro Tull and then straight into Hendrix who opens up with Fire. From what I remember it was a lackluster concert compared to footage like Monterey. Maybe this is footage from a different show. I don't know.

Let me correct myself. The Hendrix portion is about 55m long. The Jethro Tull portion is approx 10m long for a total of approx 65m.

Great news if true.
I am always suspicious of these stories, usually written by lazy hacks.
Mal Evans' suitcase keeps turning up every few years!

as regards StuW's point, it seems that on Winmx there is a Stockholm 69 concert. I wonder if this is the smae one?

Is this the show from which “Voodoo Chile” was included on the late 1980’s Video Collection “Rock N Roll The Greatest Years 1970” and The South Bank Show included a clip of “Red House” (I think it was “Red House”). A Record Collector article on Hendrix suggested he did not look very happy throughout this performance, but I suggest he was fully focussed on what he was playing and thankfully no longer felt the need to entertain with all the gimmicks. It’s a fantastic show, very very powerful, Noel’s bass is throbbing, it‘s about the best Rock TV footage I’ve seen. Please release it on DVD!

Hello all, first post here. Sorry to dredge this old thread up but I wanted to report that this "missing" footage has been in general fan circualtion since the early 80's. It's probably the most commonly booted Hendrix footage out there! 2 songs from the show were on the official Experience Hendrix DVD titled Experience
