They've played this tonight , but according to the database, neither performance exists !

Mud The Secrets That You Keep 27th February, 1975 Dave Lee Travis, Jimmy Savile Performance No
Was it a 'missed' performance, as per the database, or was it a non TOTP clip ?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I would have thought that the clip would be from 27/2/75.
Reason? I'm sure that Duane Eddy "Play Me Like You Play Your Guitar" has been on TOTP2 before, the only edition in which it was featured.
If the performance was from 13/2/75, then I would have thought that Queen "Now I'm Here" would have featured before now.

Also, according to the newsletter, the long-awaited clip of The Move doing "California Man" is supposed to finally make an appearance tomorrow night (26th May). Having seen what happened with the promised Pickettywitch clip a while ago this doesn't guarantee anything, but it's worth setting your VCRs anyway.

I believe this to be from 27-2-75 too. Reason being "Dreamer" by Supertramp was from the same edition, and has been on TOTP2 several times. "Only You Can" by Fox has also been shown on TOTP2 (6-3-99). May well be only certain performances exist rather than the whole edition.
Also Duane Eddy may be from the 13-3-75 edition (which exists in full), which is listed as a "repeat performance".

So it does! Don't know how I missed that on the Database when I looked last night.
Also, I just found my old notes that I made from the relevant TOTP2 in question: it was one of those "Recorded for Recall" slots, and it was 13/3/75 which was featured.
As well as Duane Eddy, The Bay City Rollers, Sweet and Telly Savalas performances were shown.
Wish that Queen performance existed...

the mud perf. was 13/02/75
it was repeatd the same one on 27/03/75
it wasnt, i repeat wasnt on 13/03/75

Guys...just thought i`d let you know....knew the lads well,... used to record in "T.M.C" (Tooting Music center", T/Broadway)....now closed down..."Tiger Feet" recorded there....great bunch of lads.....sad loss Fred died.....
