Yes, I often wonder that, as seen that clip many times... and which show was the Savile Kilt from? !! Looks like around 1974 judging by the set...
Although I know this is a tad off topic now, but what did others think of Stars Re-United today?
Personally, I was a little disappointed, as I thought it did very little to capture the atmosphere of the 1960's/70's ... I fully appreciate the obvious (as in lack of clips for sixties etc) but on the whole thought the choice of clips was almost bizarre at times - that oh so hilarious "Jockey Wilson" picture behind Dexy's (and you mean to tell me that this was just a deliberate mistake?!!! Right ho !!!) and Tony Blackburn in his chicken costume! Oh dear.
I also thought it quite odd that they celebrate the life of Kenny Everett. Don't get me wrong - he was (I think) quite a taleneted performer, but was he really that big in the world of TOTP? I know he presented a few editions, but surely this air space could have been better used with some more clips featuring some more classic links etc...
So, thats my rant and rave over!! What did others think?

It was a shock to see Fluff Freeman, he looked very old. Noel Edmunds was conspicuous by his absence. Tony Blackburn’s memories of Kenny Everett were interesting (they both thought the other hated them until a few years before Kenny died by which time they had become good friends). Jimmy Saville made me feel nervous even from the safety of my living room, but Saville will always be Mr TOTP for me. As for DLT, I’ve still not got over the Q Magazine “Who the hell does...think he is” article.

I was actually at the recording of this back in June last year, and even got to ask Tony Blackburn a question on camera. This was sadly edited from the final broadcast.I seem to remember the stars chatting to the audience in between takes, especially Blackburn who was rather flirty with many a female audience member!
Oh,and as I also mentioned on the TOTP2 board, Dee Dee Wilde is absolutely gorgeous...

My Guess is the Jimmy Saville "Wooly Jumper Dancing" clip is from the 25th Feb 71 Edition.

I know he presented a few editions, but surely this air space could have been better used with some more clips featuring some more classic links etc... It was a part of the show's format that a 'tribute' was paid to one of the stars who was dead - and to be honest, I don't think there are that many who are. I can only think of Stuart Henry, but, good though he was, he probably didn't have the 'name' recognition factor that Everett had. I though it was a bit of a shame they used so little of that 1973 Everett hosted edition that survives - there were some lovely bits they could have used.
