Here's a little snippet on the Kinks and Supersonic.
The Final series began in September 1976 ,by this time 'Supersonic' had been relegated to the Midday slot as part of the newly-merged children's programme,'Supersonic Saturday Scene'.The Final Edition went out at 11.00am on 2nd April that year. The Guest Line-up included:The Kinks,Elkie Brooks,Marc Bolan, who played out with 'Soul of my Suit' and 'Sweet Little Rock'n'Roller',joined by Ray Davies,Dave Edmunds,John Lodge and Alvin Stardust.

The edition of Supersonic I saw with the Kinks didn't feature Marc Bolan so It wouldn't be that final edition. The episode I saw also had The Rubettes and Bilbo in it.

The Whole scene going on episode exists with Ravi Shankar, Kinks, Yardbirds, Ray Nance, Bruce Turner Jump Band and Charlton Heston. Black and white; 30m. I have a nice copy of it.

Well, there's the one mentioned above (8 June 1966) which the NFTVA have - also includes Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky and Sneezy in Paris plus interviews with Ravi Shankar and Charlton Heston.
There's another (whole episode?) at the BBC with a Pete Townsend interview and The Who in the studio - it's the one where the famous "Are you blocked-up on stage?" interview comes from used in 'The Kids are Alright'.
And finally there's a mighty performance of 'Midnight to Six Man' from the great Pretty Things on Sounds of the Sixties. Perhaps this is a stand alone performance and from a clip reel - or is there another complete episode?
And that's probably the lot - don't hold out much hope of any others ever turning up either.

In my opinion Waterloo Sunset is the best 'pop' song ever written. Everything about it is perfect.
Hem hem. Just thought I'd get that off my chest.

I've tracked down some more Kinks on Supersonic info:
3/1/76 'No More Looking Back', 'You Really Got Me' 6/3/76 'No More Looking Back' 2/4/77 'Street Walker'
Hopefully that ties in with what was listed earlier.

That Kinks track will be Sleepwalker; from the album of the same name.

Sorry about that - the title came from Granada themselves.
Must admit though that I don't own any Kinks records made after Arthur!
