I watched a DVD yesterday featuring The Beatles at the 64-65 NME Poll Winners Concert (and a cracking DVD it was as well).
My question is does the rest of that show still exist in the archives and do any other NME Poll Winners concerts from the 60's still exist? I understand the shows were screened at the time by ABC.
I am aware that both The Beatles and Rolling Stones performances from the 65-66 show were not shown as the bands management were involved in a contractual dispute at the time.
By the way that Beatles DVD also featured the Thank Your Lucky Stars performance with the time clock running on it.

The rest of those '64 and '65 shows exist too. The '66 show also exists as televised (also on VT, like the '65 show) but the Beatles / Stones performances were not recorded at the time due to cintractual problems (therefore The Beatles' final UK gig was not recorded for posterity, although the part of them receiving their awards was).
Don't think it was televised after '66 (not sure though).

Just to add on.. . The National Film Archive has all the unedited footage from '65 on glorious 35m! Only the second part of the '66 show still survives, losing (sadly) the incredible Small Faces set where they opened with "Paperback Writer"!
