Have a shufti at... www.offshoreradio.org/downloadclub2/index_en.phpMasses of offshore material for download for a pathetically small membership fee (and no, I'm not on comission). FWIW, there's literally thounsands of hours of 1960s offshore radio recordings floating about. Shame the same can't be said of period BBC stuff! LD

10 euros a year? ?? I'm not made of money you know why thats nearly 50p a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not much bbc stuff no the little i've come across has all the djs cut or paused out, with pirate radio people were much more likley to let the tape run i'll keep checking the junk shops for 1/4"" tape spools maybe I'll find something other than musicals and opera.

>10 euros a year? ?? I'm not made of money >you know >why thats nearly 50p a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Outrageous! I'm still paying off the bank loan now. >not much bbc stuff no the little i've come across has all >the djs cut or paused out I dunno...I've picked up a load of sixties / early seventies BBC Light / Radio 1 shows with the jocks intact. Alan Freeman seems to fare particularly well in collector circles-- there's a mass of "Pick Of The Pops" editions about, and most of them seem to be in reasonable quality. LD

William: The recordings are from all over the place, date wise, from '63-'69. Give me an e-mail address and I'll sling you the list.
