copyright Pete Seaton 22nd August 2003 (this was from my website, until the "Doris" (The Mule) Seaton spoilt everything and I re-Quote : Basically one idea has been mulling in my addled brain for some time. whereby we create a great board of followers who cate about "Our" show so....... this covers all archive material of the BBC what we do is create a guild of fans of the show called...... TOTP Appreciation Society i have the logo in hand already..... then what we do is put this to the BBC, that we all pay a fee, and have special membership cards which last about a year / 5 years or life..... which gets us into TOTP whenever we like.... a certain amount of say how the show is run, and protected being a fan of the show gets us limited edition run of monthly DVD's each of the show which cannot be copied in ANY shape or form as they have copy protection codes in them. (these could cost about the same price of a Dr Who DVD) this will end illegal trading, and will officially protect the BBC Archives from Piracy. and this will be to fans for fans and make the BBC pots of money, (like the Dr Who have) any maybe we will have our own self funded TOTP channel ? one day so this is for us the TOTPaholics and TOTP2vians (which some of us are both) what do you think,as I think we could get this off the ground with a website. also we could include our own fan websites, and spread the word around the world. If you work for the BBC your idea might be taken up, but i doubt that if your an outsider anybody there would give you the time of day....just being realistic....nice idea all the same and wish you luck.
