Hello everyone! If any of you ever want any old `data` on songs/records in the charts from the 50's to the 70's I will be only too pleased to try to help. There were more charts than the one "Guinness" use in the 60's so if you want to know how records fared elsewhere i'm your man. "Guinness" themselves were most kind to allow me to compile page 68 in their `Hit Singles 16` edition. Remember there was no `Hit Singles` editions back then; so if you got to no1 in ANY chart back then; it was a bona - fide no1. All The Best. Chartman.!

Dear Mark. Thanks for your reply. The old album charts I can refer to vary. I do have some "Record Retailer" charts from the 60's and 70/71. ALL N.M.E listings. I have MANY old "Melody Maker" LP charts from the 50's/60's & 70's. I have virtually all "Disc & Music Echo" charts and i actually have the VERY FIRST EVER album chart; Record Mirrors" top five listing on July 28th 1956. There are still quite a few gaps in my collection as some are very hard to get, but if I can help you Mark please let me know. Best Regards Chartman
