Sorry that this isn't a post about early TV, however could someone settled this memory I have. When the BBC detective series New Tricks had a pilot episode first shown in 2003, was Dennis Waterman singing Travelling Wilburys "End of The Line" over the end credits? By the time the full series was commissioned, Dennis then recorded a song called "It's Alright" for the series which obviously has a similar tune to the End of The Line. When the pilot episode was re-shown, the track "Its Alright" was used. I may of course be wrong, but I would be interested to know.
