A remarkable piece of work indeed. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Will enjoy studying this. Great pics indeed!

Yes, a splendid site, maintained by Martin Kempton, whose name you might recognise from the credits of TV Burp, the Green Green Grass and other TV comedy shows, on which he works as lighting director. Incidentally, that Tempo pic was scanned by me from my 'ITV 1968' yearbook, and there are a few other modest contributions of mine elsewhere on the site.

Tempo was broadast on Sunday afternoons.
Quite right, a labour of love, and a most welcome addition to this subject.
Just as a matter of interest, The Viking Studio in St Mary Abbott's Place was where the BBC's 'Tonight' programme was broadcast, from February 1957 to November 1957, before moving to Lime Grove.
On another note, as well as being compère of the BBC Café Continental cabaret shows, Pere Auguste, who died in 1951, was also the series founding producer, and it was he (according to rumour) who had requested twenty of the shows to be recorded around 1949 / 50, so that they could be shown to some of his friends in France.
One more note with respect to the Associated Rediffusion Wembley Park television studios is that when opened in March 1958, they were considered to be the most modern in Europe, and A.R. were the first British television organization to have Ampex video tape recording machines installed at this studio complex (circa June 1958).
Yours,
