Chan Canasta

does anyone remember Chan Canasta? He was a sort of 1960s ' Derren Brown ' . As his performances were live and made for Rediffusion, the last thing you would expect is any of those shows turning up.
However there is a DVD available in the States, does anyone know if these be the old AR shows or something he did later in the US?

He did make an appearance/s? on the Ed Sullivan Show and maybe a couple of other US guest shows?

As you say he had his own AR magic show and is believed to have popped up/advised occasionally in drama stuff from the AR stables such as crime shows ( Rather like Ali Bongo at Thames) .

His last TV appearance is thought have been as a guest on 'Parkinson' then retired to the South coast .
