Some may be interested that The Liver Birds has begun a rerun on Paramount Comedy 2 This Week, and I think I've fallen in love with Nerys Hughes all over again!

On another note - whats the archival status of the early series, especially ones featuring Pauline Collins and Polly James??

Liked it but missed the early ones i watched around 1976/77 Mollie Sugden was in a few.

Only the title sequence and the film inserts for the episode "An Interesting Condition" tx 25/7/69 exist from the very short 1st series (& the Comedy Playhouse pilot doesn't exist either). Otherwise all the episodes exist (ie all the colour ones).
