Andrew
would you know if an early James Bolam prisoner of war theatre drama Naked Island (1965)BBC still survives and if it was actually made in colour?
thanks

I'm afraid it doesn't survive, and no, it wasn't made in colour. It was transmitted on 11/2/65 in the series "Thursday Theatre" on BBC2 (if anyone's interested!) - also in the cast were Ray Barrett, Alan White, Lewis Fiander, John Breslin, Barry Lowe and Burt Kwouk; writer was Russell Braddon, producer Bernard Hepton, director John Gorrie.
