BBC4 are showing 'Dead of Night: The Exorcism' this Saturday at 11.10pm. I'm looking forward to it, as the only copy I've seen had atrocious picture and sound quality. It's a pity that BBC4 aren't screening the other two surviving episodes, 'Return Flight' and 'A Woman Sobbing', but unlike 'The Exorcism' there's nothing festive about them.
IIRC, 'Dead of Night' consisted of seven stories, four of which were erased during the 70s. I guess we can be doubly grateful that all the M.R. James adaptations for 'A Ghost Story for Christmas' were shot on film.
