Does anyone remember the Tommy Steele film Quincy's Quest, where Tommy Steele played a toy who needs to get to the top floor of a department store to see Santa to try and get him to stop the shop owners burning his toy friends? It was a Thames TV production and was first shown in 1979. I got a copy on E-bay last year.

Yes! I remember watching it twice, think it was repeated the following year, I also remember the TV Times Cover funilly enough (think it made it to a long-lost scrapbook). I remember enjoying it immensly but heaven knows how good it would look today but I did like the whole concept of it and I remember a particularly good scene when Tommy steele was on a model train which was about to plummet to a surefire doom!
