Sorry if this is completely off-topic, but does the new DVD release of Sapphire and Steel have the ATV front idents and the vt clocks?

More to the point have they been re-mastered as the original release was worse than the videos.

The bad news
Apparently the first two stories have no ATV paraphernalia like zooms / ad caps etc .
no improvement in picture quality
The good news
comes with a documentary and booklet on the making of the serial

The bad news Apparently the first two stories have no ATV paraphernalia like zooms / ad caps etc . Why is this bad news? There never was any ad caps for the first two stories, so nothing has been removed and the stories are as they were broadcast.  |

I was chuckle over this sort of pendantism. I have a friend that wants all his programmes with each credit sequence as original and all that kind of detail. His argument is that he wants as originally broadcast. But, I say to him, originally some clown would be talking over the end credits and the picture quality would be affected by the weather and unsupressed moter bike/car engines!! Equally, most people do not religiously sit and watch the credit sequences, - they fast forward! Oh yes, I want to know who plated whom and who the director was, but that could come at the end of a top and tailed programme or even printed on the outer sleeve. Still each to his own - eh?
