Does anyone else remember this 8-part crime / drama series from 1975 starring Colin Blakely?
I think it was a Yorkshire Television production IIRC.
And does it still exist in the archives?

The hanged Man was an exciting little serial about a building company director who gets innocently caught up with some villains and sinister characters who wanted him out of the way, he pretends to be dead in order to work at finding out who is behind his attempted murder-- IIRC
The title of each episode was named after a Tarot Card and the elements in that Tarot Card was basis for the story for that particular week .
A nice bit of exciting 70s synthesizer was used in the music.
and made by YTV who have about the best surviving archive out of all the companies. So yes it probably survives?

I have the soundtrack to this but have never seen the actual series, if the cover is anything to go by it looked good!

hartley - your memory's better than mine. I recall the basic plot as outlined in your reply, but I don't remember the Tarot Card thing at all.
rob - it was indeed a good show, and the theme tune was quite memorable (I have it going round in my head as I type this). As hartley says - exciting stuff, with that typical 70s feel to it.
