I'm afraid not. The only material that exists from Television Doctor are the film sequences from some of the episodes - quite a lot of the episodes in fact, but only three from 1969, and the epilepsy edition is not among them.

Isn't there some kind of fragments existing Andrew?
May be mistaken but I seem to recall viewing some kind of off air links material at one stage and this had possibly a preview or rundown card.
I suppose I'm thinking of the opening of a programme during a live transmission; this kind of thing.

My mistake - in fact there are quite a few complete film recordings and at least one complete film programme (in my defence I was concentrating on the fact that the epilepsy edition doesn't exist, and just thought I remembered that there were only film sequences). I'm not aware of any off-air copies existing, the film recordings we have are all Enterprises copies which would probably not be off air. (That's not so say someone might not have one.)

Hi Andrew - the off air recordings I'm thinking of actually are 'your life in their hands'. This was another medical programme from a similar period (67 - 70). (And my mistake too!) There was also a BBC series run in the adult education Sunday morning slot c. 1968 I recall. The topic I recalled was post natal care or pregnancy. This would be around 12.00 transmission. It was something that might have surprised me as a child only familiar with the 'gooseberry bush' theory; which my Mother then would have hastily intercepted and switched off! For the latter I recall a colour film insert - which I recognised from the original time - turned up on a segment of O.U. / learning zone around 1999.

P.S. - the viewed off air stuff is I think from a private recording c. 1967; but actually now I think all this amounts to is a billing on a line up card.
This is probably from a Shibaden source - similar to the Galton and Simpson recordings. There are a lot of similar sequences in T/R form c. 1969 held by the BBC film library.

I watched this link last night. It is one of the links from the first week of colour on BBC 1 on 17 November 1969. The link starts with the end of Panorama, then has a promo by the announcer over the BBC1 clock for television doctor (which was what was on BBC2 at the same time). The file is on Meldrum Private Parts - file 9493.
