Just out of interest, I seem to remember some Black and White shows been shown on the BBC in the mid 80s (possibly after Eric's Death) with intro's by Ernie, I'm now sure these were later compilations of ATV shows as one of them featured a very funny James Bond parody, anyone else remember these? Indeed I do. I saw a couple and appeared to be compilations of mid 60s shows. Also showed musical guest clips - can recall The Fortunes and Susan Maughan. |

Did The Fortunes sing This Golden Ring or could that have been another show i seem to recall them singing on something like a show or a special?

I can't remember exactly which song The Fortunes played but it likely was that song. It was one I'd not heard at the time so it wasn't "You've Got Your Troubles" or "Here It Comes Again".
