Does anyone know the exact plot details of the episode of PLAYHOUSE - THE MIND BEYOND which featured a couple with an autistic girl who call in a Psychiatrist when she starts behaving in a disturbed manner?
A friend has been looking for the source of a supernatural play in which the disturbed daughter of a modern couple causes pins to fly off a table into her arm, apparently gaining the ability of telekinesis.
He quotes it as '70s, BBC similar to (or period of) last OUT OF THE UNKNOWN series'.

On the first point - the play described isn't that MIND BEYOND ENTRY. I still don't know the answer though so any comments on the second point are welcome. |

Thanks for this Robert - what I didn't know was what the play my friend recalled was (which was what I meant).
Sorry if this is confusing.
At the time of my original post (which has been cut and pasted by someone else); a friend referred to what he thought might be and episode of the last series of OUT OF THE UNKNOWN.
I proposed it might be either MENACE 'THE HAUNTING' or THE MIND BEYOND.
In the play recalled; a couple in a house in modern England are meanced by a poltergeist. The poltergeist caused pins from a tin to fly off a dressing table; across a room and into the Mothers hand. When an agent was called in to exorcise the spirit it was identified the Daughter was causing this.
It could at a long shot; still be THE HAUNTING or maybe 'THE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF TOMORROW' (OOTU).
