Thank you so much for your responses.
Just to clarify, I would like to post online ads on websites worldwide (such as Craig's List for example) and encourage other fans also to post ads worldwide online.
Such as the following that could be posted to Craig's List Sydney...

The BBC is searching for lost episodes of classic television shows, including Doctor Who. Currently 108 episodes of Doctor Who are missing from the BBC archives.
107 of the 108 missing episodes were sent to Australia in the 1960s and 1970s. Some may still exist in Australia as 16mm film prints.
You can see the full list of missing episodes of Doctor Who (as well as missing episodes from other British TV shows such as Hancock’s Half Hour, A for Andromeda, etc.) at:
www.missing-episodes.comIf you think you may have a missing episode as a 16mm print or a copy in another format (8mm off-air or videotape), or have any information about these episodes, please contact the BBC by sending an email to:

Or writing to the following address:

My original idea was to include the following contact info...
TreasureHunt@bbc.co.uk
Also accessible from this website:
www.bbc.co.uk/cult/treasurehunt/help/index.shtml Or writing to the following address:
Treasure Hunt
PO BOX 30871
London W12 6GL

I wrote to this Treasure Hunt email, asking if I could use this contact information. I seemed to receive a reply (addressed to Mr. Wulf) in the affirmative, but others have told me that the Treasure Hunt is defunct, the emails are not checked, and the reply I received was probably automated.
I do not want people with missing material to contact me personally. My original idea was simply to try to let people elsewhere in the world know about the Treasure Hunt (the BBC's official request to everyone out there to return missing material). However, perhaps the Treasure Hunt is no longer in operation.
I would like to do something similar and provide other contact info, but I don't want to do this without express permission to use someone else's contact email in this way.
I thought that perhaps with enough people posting to enough websites worldwide, there might be a success and an actual person overseas would contact the BBC directly with a missing film or off-air recording. It would be a needle-in-a-haystack effort, but it might work to locate another person like Bruce Grenville or Francis Watson who lives overseas.
