Hi everyone. At the end of the first two series of Treasure Hunt on Channel 4 they showed an hour long highlights programme. The first was called A Second Look and the second just Highlights (as far as I'm aware). Does anybody have these? I've contacted Chatsworth Television, the production company of the programme, and they say they don't and that there existence may now be unlikely unless languishing deep in the archives of Channel 4. Can anyone help?

If it helps, the programme itself was repeated on Challenge TV and, apparently, on Sky Travel. Here's a detailed episode guide fp.martinunderwood.f9.co.uk/Treasure%20Hunt/ which also has links to the International Movie Database entries. If both cases the Highlights editions are listed.

Thanks very much for that. The problem is that on the repeated showings on satellite the series was never shown in its entirety (some episodes were continually dropped for some reason and the broadcasts were never in order). The only time this has happened was during their initial run on Channel 4 (and even when Channel 4 repeated the programme a few years after they first went out some episodes were not given a second airing, these two among them). It appears that A Second Look and Highlights have never been reshown and because they are compilation programmes Chatsworth is of the opinion that if they now exist at all then they must be held only by the main broadcaster. These went out in 1983 and 1984 - any possibility they could have been wiped altogether, do we think?
