Does anyone know whether the AWP special "Educating Oz" still exists, and what the likelihood is of a release (if ever!).
Thanks

Educating Oz does indeed exist as well as a lot of footage/retakes etc from series 1 & 2 that ended up on the cutting room floor.I for one would love to see network doing a proper Auf Wiedersehen Pet release ,with the unseen cuts & bloopers added as extras, classic & new interviews with the lads, especially the late, great Gary Holton(although i doubt Jimmy Nail would allow any of his to be used), as well as Educating Oz,which i for one would love to see.

Hi...This is my first post (after many months of lurking ) When the dvd's were first announced a few years back, i emailed Paul Armstrong (who ran the Auf pet web site & is also credited on the dvd releases) about the Educating Oz being included as an extra. His reply was that Central were willing to sell it to Carlton, but the asking price was £100,000 . Carlton were not willing to pay this amount for a short film, so ultimately, it was not included . I would love to see this footage, but after years of web searching, have always drawn a blank (nothing on youtube - i've checked a lot!!).So if anyone has this, please contact me Hope this helps & hi to everyone on the board

On the Auf Pet Yahoo Groups somebody who worked for Central during the time they filmed the show posted some bloopers on the site. They were given to him as a gift and he kept them so, as you can imagine, the quality is not that great but still watchable and some of them are very very very funny.
