'CANDID CAMERA SNOOKER SKETCH QUERY'.
I recall around 1970 a T-R clip of a comedy sketch where someones watching Snooker on TV then the ball bursts out of the screen and someones head pokes out and asks for the ball back. It may have been a golfing match. I thought the man was either Dickie Henderson or Leslie Crowther; and that it had been shown on a 'Dick Emery' show in 1970 on BBC1; Saturday. However I later found this was a prank staged by the original CANDID CAMERA team; so unless this was a repeat of a sketch based on it (definitely a flashback to 1960s); it was probably a clip from the 1960 series. The remake of the sketch from 1974 was shown on cable TVs repeats of the 70s CANDID CAMERAs.
