I noticed Cooperarama, an ABC b/w Tommy Copper series listed on ITV's Most Wanted missing shows. It can't all be missing because one episode turned up on sell through retail vhs in the 1990s. I remember it had some very naff opening titles.

I remember it had some very naff opening titles. Oh, I quite liked those opening titles. Considerably more, in fact, than the show itself. The interview segments just don't work at all. The show that appeared on the sell-through VHS appears to be the only surviving Cooperama, while the (much better) Life with Cooper on the same tape seems to be 1 of 12 survivors. |
