Anyone know the archive status of the BBC adaption please? How well (or otherwise) have the BBC Sunday teatime classics survived in general?

It doesn't exist. There was a thread on here (or was it another site) some time ago, and someone did a list of Sunday serials and whether they existed, I think. I think most of the BBC serials from the 70s exist, not so many from the 60s do, the 50s likewise - roughly proportional with general levels of existing drama from those eras (though I don't suppose whether material was junked or retained had any relation to the slot it went out in).
