What's been recovered so far in 2007? It seems very quiet for recoveries this year!

It should look pretty good later in the year; when the raiders of the lost archive finds are finally announced; and as I understand it there are also some promising leads being pursued at present.

I believe there is room for optimism, this year. There are, certainly, some investigations under way.
It is likely that it will be a few months yet before any announcements are made, but you can never be certain.

This year is boding well for recoveries, we are only into March. There is still plenty of time, and interesting material that is resurfacing, such as in the Raiders Of The Lost Archive ITV project. I saw another thread here on the board that had a petition to release more UK TV archive programs into public viewing, and access. I also seemed to remember some talk of BBC considering another Treasure Hunt, which could prove very beneficial, as the last certainly was. There are groups such as Kaleidoscope, private researchers, leads, rumors, car boot sales, film conventions (summer is coming up) and more spare time to work on projects. I am convinced that by this year's end we will see some intriguing recoveries. Lance.
