Does anyone here know what the archive status is for this '70s pre-Generation Game Larry Grayson show? I think it was made by ATV.

According the the fab Kaleidoscope Music & Variety guide all the shows bar the final one from the first series featuring Diana Dors have been wiped Although Larry's LWT series which ran from 75-77 has faired much better with 11 of the 14 shows still surviving. Would love to see any of these myself but what are the chances of an official release??

Wasn't that the one where Larry would sing:
"Shut that door, Shut that door, It's freezing cold in here. Shut that door, Shut that door, I'm feeling rather queer..."
;D

Thanks for the info, even if it is sad about what exists (or doesn't, rather, which is nearly all of it!)..though I had an inkling this might be the case. Someone I know says they know someone with the pilot of this, but they wanted to know what else might be out there. I suppose it might be one of the things Carlton might uncover more of as they catalogue the ATV stuff, maybe..is that still ongoing? I haven't heard owt about that in a while.

I don't know if you've ever come across copies of the tape doing the trading circuit that shows Thames Test idents, an ABC Audience Ratings Report and New Season Preview, and some other 1968 BBC1 and ITV clips, but one of the items on that is a goodly portion (might even be complete, I would have to check) edition of "Shut That Door". I'm sure the said tape(s) have been alluded to in other posts as they're quite well known about.
The tape of course, is a 405-line domestic format (Shibaden most likely), 'converted' (no doubt several years ago) via the 'tried and trusted' method of pointing a video camera at a 405-line monitor, and is very fuzzy, geometrically distorted (you can see the edges of the screen) and full of vertical rolls and dropouts. So no chance of it ever being repeated, but despite the poor quality it's interesting viewing. I'd assumed it was from 1968 also until I actually watched past the end credits and saw the "AN ATV COLOUR PRODUCTION" end cap.

I've got that tape - it's not a complete edition but an interview with Noele Gordon and Rod Hull. Interestingly the tape also has a clip of Bob Monkhouse on the Golden Shot (part of the audience ratings report) which is probably quite rare.
