After six months of trying i'm still getting nowhere with Granada Media with equiries about if certain ITC programmes still exist.
I would think (particularly with the earlier ones thet they don's exist anymore, but if anyone out there can help me, either with the information (or a contact that will actually answer my e-mails!) I'd be very grateful
26/9/62 - The Dave King Show 08/12/62 – Roy Castle Show 08/1/64 – A Touch Of The Norman Vaughans 19/8/67 (USA) and 11/2/68 (UK) - Piccadilly Palace 11/4/68 – Des O’Connor Show
(Dates may be recording rather than Transmission)

Richard have you thought of contacting a professional film research organisation like 'Focal' ? OK it will cost money, but at the end of the day these finds will represent a good investment and pension for the Monro family.
Ebay now does a 'wanted' section, you could always post a request in the film section which would attract world wide interest.
However I would say its most likely that the 1962-64 entires of yours dont exist anymore (unless in private hands).
King , Castle and Vaughan did not export well. Unfortunately for the UK we had to put up with them but the rest of the world did not. So recordings would have been scarce in the first place, and the erase button hit pronto-I would have thought?

That's the problem. The Estate is not Rich (it's not for me to go into the reasons why) but that's why I'M doing this!
I now have a complete database of all existing UK TV appearances and these few are the only ones I do not have information on. All the other TV companies either have online archives or have been very helpful - ITC it seems is a closed shop unless you happen to work as a film researcher!
According to the BFI The Roy Castle Show - Excerpts from 7.2.62 are includes in IN ON THE ACT[7/4/88]
Which made me think that other episodes might have survived.
