Hello,
today I found an old BBC acetate for a 1958 production 'Hour of the Rat'. Whilst I can't listen to it (78rpm -damn!) it would appear to be a disc of effects by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
Could anyone shed further light on the production - does a copy still exist even? Thanks.

This sounds very interesting. im always a big fan of radiophonic stuff. You should try and post a 320kbps mp3 of it online somewhere so we can investigate it and have a bit of a listen Cheers for sharing!

I'd be very grateful if you could contact me at: info@restoration-team.co.uk This is a production for which that disc of effects is missing from the library and we'd love to get a copy back. We can also do a very nice job of transferring 78's! Cheers, Paul
