Does this Australian late '60s show (shown in a few ITV regions in the early to mid '70s) still exist in the archives?

Yes I too recall this, which premiered with a Oz soapy series called Bluebird or something, that one did not last long.

Delta (and 'Boney') was probably the last of the great Oz outback adventure serials to been in the UK? which included all that Roger Mirrams produced stuff.Which we saw in the UK in the 1960s.
Kirrily Nolan hot and sweaty in a mini skirt perhaps one of TV's neglected heroines?
Perhaps its achilles heal was you could not walk into an epiosde half way through, but had to be in with from the beginning to understand what was going on?

No idea why the guys at Umbrella DVD have not investigated these old gems?

From this comment from the end of the piece about 'Delta':
"Delta has not been screened since the mid-1970's, in common with most Aussie productions of the era. It is the sort of material that should be released on ABC Video/DVD, but because of the logistics associated with residuals it probably never will."
I presume that it does still exist intact it's just that breath-holding on a DVD release is not advised?

Actually, there's been a bit of a change at the ABC. The Seven Little Australians 2004 release convinced ABC Enterprises that there was money to be made out of the archives, which in turn drove the Aunty Jack DVDs last year. So you want you, go ahead and build a case it'll sell.
And Bellbird lasted a decade; ABC's been celebrating 50 years of television this year and no programme's had more praise.
