Chris,
I have an edition of Hazell on U-Matic from the night of the 1979 General Election.
I haven't checked the body of the episode, but the continuities, adverts, ATV line-up and the start of the news at ten is all there.
I have a feeling that the bulk of the actual episode isn't there, wiped over with an NTSC recording of something.
PM me if you're interested in it. I dubbed it to DVCam.
