last month on Ian Levine's fb group, a chap called Grant Wheelwright shared a scan of a 1969 magazine interview with Frazer Hines he'd discovered, which appeared to feature what is effectively a telesnap from the missing episode 3 of The Space Pirates. I thought I'd reshare it here: enjoy:  |

I am a HUGE fan of 'The Space Pirates 'since the Troughton Years VHS release back in '91, and to be honest, 1 discovered SP telesnap is to me worth 1,000 prints discovered of 'The Power of the Daleks' episode 1.

This was just lifted from elsewhere on Facebook and put onto Ian's forum. The person who found it was Gary Vernon.
It's from the afternoon rehearsal (hence Wendy without her hairpiece), so we don't 100% know if this is how the shot would have appeared in the completed episode.

Still good to see though. It’s funny but I have no recollection of watching the Space Pirates. I must have done being compulsory viewing for me during the Pat years.
