Some things are NOT worth waiting for. I've been wanting for decades to see the Swinging Blue Jeans' appearance on 'Z Cars'! Well, I just have... and all you get is a brief sight of the drummer! See for yourself, it's around 30 minutes 44 seconds in.

Interestingly, TV Pop Diaries says this:
Wednesday 25th December 1963 Christmas Day
BBC Z Cars: It Never Rains 7.15 - 8.05 pm
The Swinging Blue Jeans - three songs including The Hippy Hippy Shake and also sing Nellie Dean with the cast

Did anyone here save this? I never got round to it and it's gone (I only really want the all-too-brief SBJ clip)

Yes, that's all you see of them visually - although you can hear them in the background in the later party scene when the host's father arrives home and Watt is questioning him about the thefts from his trucking company.
There are some nice publicity photos of the band with Joseph Brady, though.
