Do people collect the Radio Times?

I hope it's OK to post this here.

I have some old copies of Radio Times from the 90s and 00s.

Not worth anything but equally I hate throwing things away.

So my question is, do I just recycle them or are there people who collect old TV mags and would hate the idea of them being recycled?

I take it from the lack of replies the answer is no, so I will recycle them next week.

I can see individual Christmas 1990s issues selling for £20+ and others (preferably tagged with a popular personality or TV programme) for in the order of £10 on eBay. A substantial pile would obviously sell for quite a bit... or I'm missing something.

The older the better, but even the 1990s Christmas editions have made £25> £30 on Ebay.

Different subject matter entirely but I had a lot of music magazines - classic rock and metal Hanmer mainly - that were like the Radio Times in the sense that some (according to Ebay) had a small value £5 - £10 possibly while others were so worthless I couldn't give them away. In the end I put them all in a sturdy couple of carrier bags and gave them to my mums friend who used to do charity car boot / thrift sales for the muscular dystrophy charity. She got £15 for the lot and sold them to a chap who, she said, walked away very happy. An idea for you maybe. All the best.

Thanks for all your replies. Looking on eBay it seems most don't sell but random ones do or may be half sell and half don't.

I reckon I will just recycle them.

The alternative is to give them away but I don't know how best to do such a thing.
