This thread is an attempt to name which songs Adam did, so that any off-air recordings that arise, which are unknown, can be matched to Missing Episodes.
It is very much a work-in-progress, as we shall see, so there is leeway for others to help in adding missing information please.
Off we go...
Adam Faith was born in Acton West London on 23 June 1940 as Terence Nelhams-Wright and lived there with family until June 1960?
01 Saturday 16 November 1957 Six-Five Special BBC TV From the 2i's Coffee Bar
Adam had adopted the name Terry Denver to be lead singer with The Worried Men Skiffle Group.
The Worried Men as resident 2i's group opened and closed the show/episode.
There standard number was Worried Man Blues form which the Group took there name, so this may have been one of the 2 numbers they did?
The other could have been This Little Girl Of Mine? Confirmation needed!
Here is the 17 year old Terry Denver/Terry Nelhams as lead singer of The Worried Men
02 Saturday 4 January 1958 Six-Five Special The Worried Men - possible This Little Girl of Mine. Confirmation needed!
This Little Girl Of Mine has been featured on various Skiffle Compilation CD's, as a live performance!
Yet I cannot find any Single Release circa 1957-8 of This Little Girl Of Mine - so is this 'live recording on the Skiffle Compilation from one of the
2 Six-Five Special appearances?
03 Saturday 14 March 1959 Oh Boy! ABC London episode 27 as Terry & Freddy. Adam/Terry teamed up with Ex-Vipers Freddy Lloyd, and the duo performed
'Go Tell Aunt Rhody (The Old Grey Goose Is Dead)
The next 22 are all the Drumbeat episodes in which Adam Faith was with The John Barry Seven.
www.johnbarry.org.uk/drumbeat08/
gives us all the numbers which Adam did in these 22 episodes/shows.
There was an EP released in 1959 which featured numbers from Drumbeat, on which it said Adam performed one, yet which one?
There has been an John Barry Seven Drumbeat LP/Album/CD release of Drumbeat on which there are 2 or more numbers by Adam, yet again which ones?
Drumbeat BBC TV Music played live.
