No William. This episode of Oh Boy! exists. From my latest book: Saturday 15th November 1958 Oh Boy! 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hosted by Tony Hall Cuddly Dudley, The Vernons Girls, Cherry Wainer, Cliff Richard and The Drifters, The Dallas Boys, Neville Taylor and The Cutters, The John Barry Seven : Farrago, Peter Elliott (the jacket he intended to wear had a houndstooth pattern which would look distorted on TV, so someone had to race across London to get him another jacket in time for the show), Red Price, Pat Laurence : Mr Lee, Lord Rockingham’s XI (Good makes it known in his regular article in Disc that the band are wearing bright pink suits, deep blue shirts and grey ties, while bandleader Harry Robinson wears an ultramarine suit with a maroon bow tie) Running Order Cliff Richard, Rosalie, Two Vernons Girls, Cliff and cast, T.V. Hop, Tony Hall, John Barry Seven, Farrago, Margaret Neville and The Cutters, Ding Dong, Betty Lou’s Got A New Pair Of Shoes, Cuddly Dudley, Mr Lee, Pat Laurence, Vernons Girls, What Should We Do With A Drunken Sailor?, Dallas Boys, Vernons Girls. Ad Break, Blue Cha Cha, Cherry Weiner, High Class Baby Cliff and The Drifters, Who Are They To Say We’re Much Too Young, Vernons Girls, Promise Me Love Peter Elliot, Weekend plus another number Red Price. Another superb episode. The Vernons Girls make full use of prop books for Ding Dong. There’s nice close ups and the versatility of Red Price is highlighted, who plays the trombone as well as the sax. The Rockingham XI use a wide variety of instruments such as clarinet, saxophone and flugelhorn. Harry Robinson appears at the end with his bagpipes and plays a bit of Hoots Mon.

Thanks to Ray
for ...
TV show with Jimmy, late 1960, on Southern Television (from Southampton, with Julian Pettifer)
The good news is that this has now been identified as ...
SOUTHERN TV 1, Southern News; It's Roving Report Beat Poet 6:10 - 6:30 pm Published: Wednesday 28 December 1960 Newspaper: Portsmouth Evening News County: Hampshire, England
Can you imagine how much that footage would be worth if rediscovered since it has Jimmy Page in it!
