Don't ask me why, maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like it's 2024 and there has never been a thread clearly dedicated to NOBA. (Although it must have been discussed a few times, as was Goodbye Again.) The main site's page is more or less accurate: obversebooks.co.uk/missingepisodes/noba.htmIt gives a bit more detail, in this case, then TV brain. I recently verified it, and the mute film for S1E5 is around 18 and a half minutes. (It includes a sketch used later, in S2E3.) That's quite substantial! IF the audio ever turns up, then we'd have a third, with stray clips added if we're lucky perhaps even half the episode.

Sadly that's not a filmed insert. Although I believe that a minute and a half of that sketch exists in vision as well! Many episodes have part of the audio out there. Tape was expensive... one of the mute sketches has something to do with canvassing Dracula, apparently.

I wasn't sure if that was appreciated here because technically, it's a copyright grey area. But yes, that was the list that made me go, "with so many audio recordings, is there really no tape reel that covers this mute material"?

Good point, sometimes you’ve just got to highlight the existence of material like this.
