Available in the U.K showing footage from various TV shows from around the world Bert Van Breda and Co. search the archives and you can see performances, many rare which you are unlikely to see on terrestrial TV.
If you have a fast internet connection you can get a decent quality picture, they call it HD however the bit rate is 4293k.

Things to note are that ALL footage seems to be audio overdubbed, they don't time stretch the audio to match the video they time stretch the video to match the audio which frequently gives motion blur.
On lip synched footage it's not to much of a problem but on live audio footage it can look awful.

Another problem with this type of live streaming is the footage has different frame rates depending from where it is sourced, film 23.976fps, PAL 25fps and NTSC 29.9fps which adds to the problems.

If you can withstand these shortcomings there is some great footage which I've never seen before, Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich in an open top car driving down the M4 singing "Hold Tight" (1966), Sandy Shaw on a beach somewhere in the Med? singing Long Live Love (1965) the list is endless...

So, I've gone and registered Nic and it's a little messy as a site on Android, but I'm getting there. What is concerning me though is, is it only live streaming or is there an archive of their clips? Obviously I'd love to browse about and select clips to watch but it only seems to be streaming live and that's all you get. I did that waiting around for a clip in the 70's and 80's. Not into doing it in 2023..!! 🤣

It is live streaming only, you need to make sure you select HD which offers the highest bit-rate assuming you have a fast internet connection.
You cannot select individual tracks so what I do is use software (Vegas Pro) and leave it running overnight 'capturing' the live stream.
As Kev stated above they are running through the top 100s, tonight 1968.

Much of the editing is dubious and clumsily done, the clips which seem to be best are the ones sourced from 35mm film which were originally lip synched as they haven't messed around with them so much.

Still worth having a nose around as it's very cheap for a months subscription.

Quite a bit higher local Dutch content. The beat boom had faded by then. Like the Brits they liked novelty records back then. Quite a few kiddies looking like Neil Read singing songs. Also had CCR, Tina Turner. Booker T etc.

some Clips are still with the ORIGINAL mostly "LIVE SOUND"

My highlight so far are topic-based shows and hit parades
and the broadcast of all episodes,
from the KAL-licensed DVD box “ReadySteadyGo”.
in the last 12 weeks.

I still really like the channel as a viewer, even after now more than 10 years of watching.

Good smattering of singer songwriters like Cat Stevens. Simon and Garfunkel. the heavy stuff from totp like Black Sabbath and Deep Purple.

Amazed that Wigwam was number 42. From the awful self Portrait. It's basically Bob strumming a guitar and scatting some horn lines. Terrible! But the Dutch liked it. Maybe the weed was strong that day. Onto 71. Nice to see some CCR footage I'd ==never seen before. More obscure stuff. We've had the Doors though. Mike Nesmith on now.

Difficult to make a case for Wigwam-I thought it was Copper Kettle on jukeboxes over here-but I'm with Bob Sarlin in 'Turn It Up! (I Can't Hear the Words : Singer/Songwriters Then & Now)' that some of the vocals on Self Portrait were rather wonderful. One of my favourite Dylan albums, among many.

The stream is working fine to the U.K counting down 1972, the programme is repeated tonight at 23:00, make sure you select HD for the highest bit-rate.
