The 1954 feature length film Knights of the Queen led to an Italian made British (after looking further it appears to be US-made) TV series, named 'The Queen's Musketeers' or 'The Three Musketeers/I tre moschettieri'. So far I have found very little information on this series, not even IMDb has a full listing.
From what I have been able to find, it consisted of 26 episodes, including a pilot episode (The Hapsburg Hare), and dates for broadcast range from March to September 1956.
Although I have come across what I believe to be all the episode titles, I cannot find a definitive episode order listing. According to TVBrain, most episodes are missing, however I have found that the pilot episode was released on a half-hour video cassette in the US by Kids Klassics in 1985, and in the UK by Diamond Films in 1986.
I also came across excerpts from three episodes on YouTube, which I think have since been removed. These were for the episodes The Hapsburg Hare, The Tower of the Legend and The Silent Witness.
Back a few months ago, I also found one episode listed as lost, The Ambassador's Pouch, for sale on eBay. I am not sure if it sold or who purchased it. So at least two episodes do survive intact, and two others as excerpts.
If anyone else has any information, it would be appreciated.
