Official channel has been set up, and some great music performances are starting to be uploaded.

Bumping this thread with a thought in mind that may be a bit tangential, but has some relevance: What is known overall about the preservation of the American run of the David Frost Show? Looking at the clips that have been uploaded to the channel, some appear to show signs of clear tape damage (such as this Julie Felix performance from 22/1/1971): www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAKsNeaADWgWhile others look like the surviving copy is a multi-generational dub (such as this Bobby Bloom performance from 2/12/1970): www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kNJIuBhWXQI admit this is somewhat off-topic- but I suspect an understanding of David Frost's preservation of his American work will help in understanding what has become of his work in the United Kingdom.

At one time he was doing an Australian show as well, clocking up the air miles!

Given that Frosty was such a key mover and shaker in setting up LWT it seems strange that he did not ensure that his output was fully archived.
