I don't think Denny's vocal range was ever fully appreciated; this B-side from January 1968 showcases his voice extremely well and it's an excellent song (stronger than the A-side, IMO):

I also find it odd that Denny's original version of "Say You Don't Mind" missed out on the charts when it was released in 1967 (and re-issued in 1969), yet the version most people will be familiar with is Colin Blunstone's cover of it - pretty much a carbon copy arrangement - which made the UK top 20 in 1972. I still prefer Denny's rendition:
