Incorrect. Wheel is (at least mainly) based on the Graham Strong tapes, recorded in the UK, if you look at the acknowledgements.

I wonder if 2024, well get more off-air audio discoveries from those who originally recorded Doctor Who during the 60s. So far, we've used many audio recordings from different fans depending on who's recording was the best.
Graham Strong recorded from An Unearthly Child to The Dominators (though he didn't switch from Microphone to Line-in until Daleks Master Plan) and his recordings are the best quality possible.
The Randolph Tapes contain recordings from The Daleks Master Plan to The Underwater Menace (though documentation suggest other Randolph reels might still exist) and its consider the second best.
David Holman recorded from An Unearthly Child to The Three Doctors and his recordings are the third best.
John De Rivaz/James Russell recorded from An Unearthly Child to The War Games and their recordings are the fourth best.
Richard Landen recorded from The Myth Makers to Underworld and his recordings are the fifth best.
David Butler recorded from The Web Planet to Logopolis (although he wiped and reused many of his tapes to save costs) and his recording of Mission to the Unknown is considered the best.
An unknown Australian fan's recording of The Invasion and The Space Pirates are considered the best.
There's also recordings made by Allen Wilson, David Stead, Marc Platt, and Ian Levine (yes, that Ian Levine) which are of various quality.

Another list of known information vaguley veiled as a question. I know the groups been quiet but not a reason to skip into your old ways.

I'll go out on a limb here, just to be super clear. Angel - stop digging up threads when you have nothing to actually say, other than to parrot already known information. Asking (or alluding to) pointless speculative questions isn't helpful either.

If it makes you feel any better "my bad" predates social media and is thought to have been popularised in the mid 90's by Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Indeed, this song was written in 2001. m.youtube.com/watch?v=WsIJjQLpukQAnyway, I'm pretty sure I heard Hartnell say, "Chesterton is it hm? My bad homme. My bad hmm hmm." And I think Barbara replies,"I pity da fool" and then Susan sees the Dalek city and is all like "yeet! that city is se-yack". Then they all go back to the TARDIS to chill with a fatty and play transdimensional Boggle. Word.
