Yes Francis Essex was 'Mr Variety' at ATV so should have a few gems there.
But if TPTV ever listened to anybody else they could have put together a variety series of Saturday Spectaculars with all the episodes that actually exist anyway.

Alma Cogan's 'Saturday Spectacular' from 19th December 1959 featured Cliff and The Shadows as star guests. The filmprint was recovered and added to the ITV catalogue in about 2018 by Tim Disney who now works there. As ITV charge a hefty fee to supply a 'screener' I am unable to confirm if the clip is indeed from that show. The set doesn't look very Christmassy so I have my doubts. . Cliff made his debut appearance on Alma's ATV show on 5th September 1959 which is missing. Cliff that week had just recorded the evergreen ballad 'I Don't Know Why' for his forthcoming LP release 'Cliff Sings' ... coincidentally this is the number he's singing with Alma in the clip!
If i were a betting man I'd plump that this is the new show that's been found!

Jeff that clip is from Cliff's first six part series for ATV. Alma made a guest appearance on 9th March 1961 show. Other guests during the series included Marty Wilde, Kaye Sisters,Lyn Cornell and Petula Clark.
