An incredible find it was and huge respect. There was an audible gasp when the clip of 'Oh Well' started up, the gasp belonging to me! I recall that the BBC1 globe faded up at the start of the rundown. If that was from 13/11/69 does that make it the latest broadcast of the b&w BBC1 globe to have survived, the colour mirror globe taking over just 2 days later? It was marvellous to see Bowie there and any original chart rundown from '60s TOTP is a marvellous time capsule (to sort of reference his accompanying single) and would that be one of only three surviving TOTP chart rundowns from the '60s?

Unfortunately, the BBC globe was not from the actual 13 Nov 1969 broadcast. The Austrian editors made sure to not leave any remnant of the BBC, and instead used an Austrian announcer to introduce each clip.

Video has now been made private. Luckily I managed to grab a copy before that happened.

Just as well, it was the wrong aspect ratio & therefore unwatchable. Curse the croppers & zoomers!

I agree that cropping and zooming is generally a crime against ratios but saying a clip is "unwatchable" because of it is ridiculously over the top.
"BEATLES TOTP FOOTAGE FOUND - CROPPED AND ZOOMED VERSION AVAILABLE TO VIEW NOW"
I'm thinking that would be watchable. 🤣

I didn't take much of a look at the youtube upload myself, but the copy floating round is from a DVD copy which will have a timecode on.
The timecode was blurred out for the 500th TOTP (04/10/1973) reconstruction that Kaleidoscope did and I think the upload was ripped from a leaked copy of that.

There's been plenty of those.
