Can anyone please shed any more light on the availability of behind the scenes photos or script info for the scene cut from Terror of the Autons in which Bill McGuirk played a policeman? You'd think some photos would exist of the scene, had it been shot? - Although, admittedly, not everything filmed on Who was documented with stills. A breakdown of the missing scene: (from www.shannonsullivan.com/drwho/serials/eee.html)Season Seven had already witnessed a significant increase in the amount of editing performed on Doctor Who episodes but, with Season Eight, new facilities became available which would provide directors with an even greater ability to tailor each installment to their liking. On Terror Of The Autons, Letts chose to delete an entire sequence from Episode Three in which an unsuspecting policeman stumbled upon the Auton coach and was murdered after discovering that the Daffodil Men were not human. Bill McGuirk, who played the unfortunate constable, was still listed in the credits, despite all of his material winding up on the cutting room floor. Also a mention here of why the scene was cut: (from www.kaldorcity.com/features/articles/terror.html) A scene in which a policeman was killed by an Auton was supposed to have appeared, and was only cut because of problems with the CSO. - is this info from the Blu-ray production subtitles?

Any cut scenes would have been junked in the 70s, so any chances of them showing up are nearly impossible.

No, it doesn't exist and the script with the scene is on the Blu-ray Season 8 Collection.
