Please stop being rude to me. Agreed, Angel. But please do fogiive us our petulance. Some of the rezzies of this site are rather old (including myself) and may be forgetting the enthusiasm of a newcomer to the scene that they, themselves, once had, where new leads seemed everywhere. The omni-rumour made many of us cynical. It should not, however, have made us uncivil to fellow enthusiasts who are simply trying to come up with lines of enquiry. It is easy to scoff at one who broaches or revisits topics that have long been put to sleep but, with one of your threads, who knows, you may trigger a memory that leads us to the Abbot of Amboise! Do not be discouraged (although, perhaps, count to ten before bumping existing threads). Best! |
